Composition

How the Gas Mask design is constructed.

Gas Mask is an original flat industrial face built around two mint lenses and two cream filter cores. It is designed to read immediately at playercard size without relying on military logos or branded equipment.

A warm full-canvas field frames a dark circular mask body. The lenses create the upper rhythm, while the narrow bridge, central snout, and paired filters make the lower half feel mechanical.

BO2 reconstruction status

A native-shape guide is available.

This guide uses 13 documented BO2-native shapes and shows the layer order step by step for manual reference.

The online template and exported PNG are planning references. They cannot be imported into BO2 or synchronized with a game account.

Color decisions

Why this palette works

Charcoal supplies the edge definition, slate gives the mask depth, mint creates the focal glass, and cream keeps the filters readable against the darker body.

Focal point: The twin mint lenses are the first readable feature.

Make it yours

Three useful variations

  • Switch mint lenses to amber for a warning-light variation.
  • Use a colder blue background for a night-operation look.
  • Reduce the filter cores for a heavier, less cartoon-like mask.

Quality control

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Letting the filter circles sit higher than the snout.
  • Making the bridge wide enough to join the lenses.
  • Using a body color too close to the outline.
