Composition

How the Iron Mask design is constructed.

Iron Mask treats a helmet as a ceremonial emblem rather than a realistic face. Ivory armor plates create the identity, muted gold marks rank and hardware, and the black visor supplies a controlled expression.

A gold outer helmet contains mirrored shell, eye, and jaw pairs. The crown plate and nose bridge divide the face vertically, while the chin plate closes the stack with a narrow termination.

BO2 reconstruction status

A native-shape guide is available.

This guide uses 18 documented BO2-native shapes and shows the layer order step by step for manual reference.

The online template and exported PNG are planning references. They cannot be imported into BO2 or synchronized with a game account.

Color decisions

Why this palette works

Ivory should remain the largest bright area. Gold works best as a frame and center accent, while near-black belongs only in the visor so the eyes stay severe and readable.

Focal point: The black visor crossing the pale nose bridge is the strongest recognition cue.

Make it yours

Three useful variations

  • Change gold to steel blue for a colder armored look.
  • Narrow the visor for a less aggressive expression.
  • Extend the jaw plates to create a heavier knight silhouette.

Quality control

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Closing the gap between visor and nose bridge.
  • Placing the crown off center.
  • Rotating one jaw plate without matching the opposite side.
