Start with recognition

Strong BO2 emblem ideas work as small symbols.

Begin with one subject and one dominant silhouette. Ears, wings, a visor, a shield, a star, or a wide grin should communicate the idea before small highlights appear. Use repeated angles and visible negative space so adjacent layers remain separate in menus.

A limited palette also improves recognition. Assign one dark structural color, one main color, one pale highlight, and one optional accent. Review the result at playercard size before spending the remaining layer budget.

Make it original

Remix construction methods, not protected artwork.
