Composition

How the Ghost Mark design is constructed.

Ghost Mark is a pale stealth badge with a deliberately broken lower edge. It suggests a disappearing mask without copying a literal ghost character.

A compact dark shell supports two pale upper planes, a recessed center, and a fragmented lower highlight. The missing lower continuity creates the fading effect.

BO2 reconstruction status

A native-shape guide is available.

This guide uses 13 documented BO2-native shapes and shows the layer order step by step for manual reference.

The online template and exported PNG are planning references. They cannot be imported into BO2 or synchronized with a game account.

Color decisions

Why this palette works

Use cold pale gray against charcoal, with only a restrained accent. Low saturation is important; a bright rainbow palette would remove the stealth identity.

Focal point: The dark center gap between the pale planes is the focal cavity.

Make it yours

Three useful variations

  • Add a faint cyan focus for a digital ghost.
  • Make the lower break wider for a stronger fade.
  • Stretch the upper planes into a more threatening mask.

Quality control

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Closing the lower broken edge.
  • Using too little contrast between pale planes and shell.
  • Centering the side planes at different heights.
