Composition

How the Red Vanguard design is constructed.

Red Vanguard is an aggressive rank crest built around speed and forward pressure. The swept red blades make the mark feel wider than its central body, while the long lower point keeps the silhouette anchored.

The rear shadow establishes the full boundary. Two outer blades and two shorter cuts create a repeated diagonal rhythm, while the silver frame funnels attention into the charcoal chevron and center spike.

BO2 reconstruction status

A native-shape guide is available.

This guide uses 17 documented BO2-native shapes and shows the layer order step by step for manual reference.

The online template and exported PNG are planning references. They cannot be imported into BO2 or synchronized with a game account.

Color decisions

Why this palette works

Red carries the motion, silver separates the lower frame from the dark body, and charcoal prevents the center from becoming visually hollow. Keep the silver narrow so it reads as an edge rather than a second subject.

Focal point: The red center spike and the dark inner chevron form the focal axis.

Make it yours

Three useful variations

  • Replace red with cyan for a colder signal style.
  • Shorten the outer blades for a compact playercard silhouette.
  • Remove the silver pair for a lower-layer monochrome version.

Quality control

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Making the outer blades touch the center spike.
  • Letting the lower point drift away from the vertical axis.
  • Widening the silver frame until it competes with the red wings.
