Composition

How the Vector Zero design is constructed.

Vector Zero is a precision ring interrupted by a descending directional vector. It feels mathematical and calibrated, with the center cut carrying more meaning than surface decoration.

A dark octagonal ring contains cyan side segments, a compact center vector, and a pale inner ring. The vertical focus point breaks the otherwise circular movement.

BO2 reconstruction status

A native-shape guide is available.

This guide uses 9 documented BO2-native shapes and shows the layer order step by step for manual reference.

The online template and exported PNG are planning references. They cannot be imported into BO2 or synchronized with a game account.

Color decisions

Why this palette works

Cyan marks active coordinates, charcoal provides the ring mass, and pale gray defines the inner zero. Keep the palette clinical and high contrast.

Focal point: The descending center vector inside the zero is the focal feature.

Make it yours

Three useful variations

  • Rotate the vector while keeping the ring fixed.
  • Use green for a targeting-display variation.
  • Remove the focus point for a pure zero insignia.

Quality control

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Offsetting the inner zero from the outer ring.
  • Making cyan segments different thicknesses.
  • Hiding the vector inside the pale ring.

Actual template data

What every Vector Zero layer contributes

  1. 01
    Zero outer

Zero outer establishes the Vector Zero boundary at 256 by 256 reference units. The Vector Zero center sits near X 256, Y 256, keeping later layers inside this rear silhouette.

  2. 02
    Zero field

Zero field occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 256.

  3. 03
    Zero inner

Zero inner occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 256.

  4. 04
    Zero void

Zero void occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 256.

  5. 05
    Vector arrow

Vector arrow occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 251.

  6. 06
    Vector spine

Vector spine occupies the Vector Zero upper center region near X 256, Y 188.

  7. 07
    Vector core

Vector core occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 256.

  8. 08
    Vector tail

Vector tail occupies the Vector Zero lower center region near X 256, Y 402.

  9. 09
    Zero slash

Zero slash occupies the Vector Zero middle center region near X 256, Y 256.
