Funny BO2 Emblem Ideas and Build Tips

Create funny BO2 emblems with original expressions, readable jokes, and compact layer stacks.

8 minute BO2 tutorial - Updated July 2026

Use one visual joke

Choose one exaggerated feature: mismatched eyes, an oversized grin, a tiny crown, or an overly serious warning frame. The joke should work before the viewer reads any text.

Keep it readable

Funny BO2 emblems still need a strong silhouette. Use broad shapes and reserve small layers for the expression rather than filling the design with thin decorative marks.

Start with an original template

Pixel Prank, Happy Hazard, and Arcade Ghost are editable original starting points. Change their eyes, mouth, accent color, or frame without copying a protected entertainment character.

Use a verified native-shape design

Panic Channel is the first funny template with a native-shape guide. Recreate its television frame first and leave facial details until the basic silhouette works.

Practical example

Happy Hazard works because the warning triangle and cheerful face disagree. Pixel Prank works because the facial proportions are intentionally awkward. In both cases one visual contradiction carries the joke.

Change one expression variable at a time: eye height, mouth width, or eyebrow angle. Adding captions, multiple symbols, and extra faces usually makes the joke slower to understand.

Happy Hazard

Happy Hazard turns a triangular warning badge into an absurdly cheerful face. The contrast between danger geometry and an uneven grin creates the joke.

A dark warning triangle contains two mismatched accent eye regions, a compact center nose, and a broad pale grin. The face stays inside the sign rather than floating above it.

Pink-red provides warning energy, charcoal keeps the sign legible, and pale gray carries the grin. A second accent should be tiny if used at all.

Try this variation: Turn one eye into an X for a slapstick variation.

Pixel Prank

Pixel Prank is a blocky mischievous face inspired by the visual economy of early game sprites. Its humor comes from a broad square head and an exaggerated mouth rather than a known character.

A chunky dark face contains yellow eye blocks, a central nose mass, and a pale-red mouth region. Wide horizontal spacing keeps the expression readable at very small sizes.

Yellow supplies comic energy, charcoal creates the sprite body, and pale gray separates the grin. One small red or pink focus can sharpen the joke without adding complexity.

Try this variation: Move one eye upward for a more confused face.

Arcade Ghost

Arcade Ghost is an original stepped mascot that borrows the grammar of pixel art without reproducing a known arcade character. Square eyes and a split lower trail carry the retro identity.

A dark stepped shadow outlines a blue body. Two socket layers hold square pale eyes, while the dark mouth and two colored glitch bars create the expression and motion.

Blue is the main sprite body, charcoal supplies outline and cavities, pale gray forms the eyes, and tiny pink-yellow glitches add arcade noise.

Try this variation: Shift the glitch bars to change the motion direction.
